If you're an ND teacher, which reasonable adjustments do you have?

Cross post with staff room as no responses on there:

I teach secondary and have a meeting with HR coming up after half term about my recent autism and ADHD diagnosis about reasonable adjustments which could be made to help in the workplace.

I really struggle with social communication and mask at work an awful lot to the extent that I literally have no idea how to go about dissecting everything that ND means to me at work and how to determine what I could benefit from in terms of a reasonable adjustment.

It's also hard to determine what's proving tricky to me because of general workplace teacher stress/exhaustion and what is as a result of ND as they all kind of merge into one hot mess.

I feel like I'm in the brink of burn out and am really dreading going back after half term.

If anyone has reasonable adjustments in their teaching role to help them through it all then I'd be really grateful to find out what they are and how they work in practice as I'm feeling quite lost.

Any advice and tips would be gratefully received.

No advice, I'm afraid, but following with interest. I left secondary teaching in 2019 after having what I thought was a nervous breakdown. I still work in education as a primary TA and constantly think about returning to teaching. Now I'm awaiting diagnosis and I wonder whether I could return with adjustments. The only I can think that would work for me would be to be on a reduced timetable, but I guess that would be reflected in salary and not an adjustment? What would you like to see your workplace provide?

Could you brain dump everything that's stressing you out about work as a stream of consciousness and then sort it into bullet points?

I find ChatGPT is actually not bad at this.

If you team teach, I'd request your other half does parents evening in return for you writing more reports.

I went part time in the end as got burn out. (Primary) I currently don't work.

Maybe a quiet place to work?
Spreading out you timetable so any free periods are spread through the week? (Are these a thing anymore?)
