Reeling. Encounter with "parents of the only autistic child that matters".

Wow. Shocked.

No compromise. No understanding that other autistic children have needs too. Especially ones who are currently in meltdown phase and distressed. Not to mention an autistic adult who was I full meltdown too.

Need some autistic understanding here, please.

Selfish cnts. Sorry but that's rubbish. You and your child matter - will you have to encounter them again?

Hopefully not, but we lost an experience that can't be replaced. And I am still really upset. Truly a one off.

Autism doesn't make it easy to let it go.
