My dog is ill
the other is lazy
both piss in the house when it rains
the ill one is bringing up sick ,when he barks ,when he gets excited, when lays down in his bed ,sick dribbles out of his mouth
he’s pissed on my sofa 3 times …why why piss on my sofa on my nice cushions my nice throws
im doing everything the vet says ,I’m spending a fortune on medication,I’m doing my best
but the constant piles of foamy sick on my floor and sofa and the piss up chair legs and on doorframes ,is getting me down
I don’t feel like my house is ever clean ,I’m bearly eating because everything feels so disgusting
everyone’s life is carrying on as normal except me ,with a very sick dog who I’m hand feeding lots of small meals a day .
its the smell ,I can be cooking dinner and he’s throwing up on the floor ,so I’m having to clear up sick then go back to cooking ..
when that happens no way can I eat it
just needed to moan ,Thankyou for listening

I understand your despair. I had a dog I loved like a child. I think you would get some good advice if you post in the Dog House section

Thanks ..I don’t really want dog advice
I wanted understanding how hard it is ,which you kindly gave Thankyou. ,I’ve spent the day washing all the cushions he’s been sick on ,washing all their bedding that had sick on ,and bleached everything..it still all feels dirty .
I’ve got 2 dogs ,tbh I didn’t want either ,I was keeping everyone else happy having them ,now I’m the one left cleaning it all up

Oh no you poor thing. Can you maybe rehome them. Think that would grind most folk down. I would have gone with it as I loved the bones of my boy, but it sounds like you have been brilliant and been accommodating for other people when you're not a dog person xx

No one would take two dogs that wee in the house when it rains ,despite having a dog flap and 24 hour access to a garden.
one dog with ongoing health problems costing plenty .
my only option is an rescue center and leave them to be caged all day .the girl looks so cute ,the type of dog that would be snapped up ,then given back when they discover her temperament.
I’ve thought about it many times ,it’s a dream that someone would offer to have them and give them an amazing life ..I can feel myself going downhill mentally with this ..
but they are my responsibility,I went a head and agreed to them .so I have to keep going doing my best
iknow 100% I will never have a dog again.
my kids are older but I’m still tied to the house with his illness and feeding schedule .

Do you have help with your doggos? Or a dogwalker who can help. Would training help?

Do your dogs still have enjoyment in their lives or are they unhappy? My boy was stressed he could no longer manage his toileting, and he couldn't even walk to the front gate. It was time to say goodbye even though it broke my heart.
