Hi all I'm 41 and have always had issues with my weight I binge eat, emotional eat, happy eat, you name it I'll find a reason to eat. The problem I have is as soon as I get on a weight loss plan I start to reject the idea and start rebelling with myself if that is even possible. In the last couple of years with one of my children one the ADHD/autism pathway I realised I myself may have one or the other or both I'm patiently waiting after referral. I'm wondering if these play a part in why I find it difficult.

So my question is how do I conquer my weight issues when I'm a massive demand avoider and emotional eater any tips please thanks

Ah mate I feel u. I have. Also struggled…. It my issues is I have adhd and I used food to give me energy and the dopamine boost I needed for my brain to function.
mrhe only thing that has helped me is being mediated for adhd, it was like a switch turned that urge off. I don’t even think about food at all. It’s so amazing to be free of it. It’s made me realise I didn’t do it emotionally it was boredom and my brain urging me to self mediate.

my tastes have changed too, can’t eat too much sugar now as it makes me feel sick and jittery, which is what it should be doing realky.

it’s so hard tho and duets do not work at all. It is a change in your brain that is needed and to reset your digestive hormones x
