Social Communication Disorder in Adults

Is there anyone here with this condition who obtained a diagnosis as an adult? I strongly suspect I may have had this condition all my life and it would help me so much to stop wondering and have it confirmed. I don’t know how to go about getting a diagnosis. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? I live to the south of London.

I don't have any proper knowledge on this but online info says contact your GP for a referral to a psychiatrist or qualified practitioner. Or go private but seems extremely expensive (870 pounds on one website!). And it appears there are specialist adhd sites with lots of practitioners and contact done by Zoom.

I am waiting for a private appointment so I'm not an expert but in a similar position to you in finding out later in life that there's a possibility of adhd.
