Looking for an adult assessment in Essex or Suffolk - any recommendations?

I am on the Essex/Suffolk border so can travel or of course anywhere if they do remote assessments.
However, I can not afford anymore than £600 for the assessment so not sure if it’s even possible to go privately as so many I’ve looked at are at least £800+ but at 49 and with waiting times of at least 3 years + in my area, I feel that if I don’t go privately I will never get to know if I’m actually neuro-diverse or not.
The waiting is driving me insane!

I think you might struggle on that budget Sad. I'm not in your area but I shopped around a lot and couldn't find anything under £1k.

Are you on the NHS waiting list as yet? I've heard of people being able to have NHS funded private assessments if the wait exceeds a certain time - hopefully someone here will have experience of that.

Can't help with your actual question, sorry, but as the wait via my trust was going to be several years and my difficulties (caused by ADHD clashing with menopause) were getting worse so my GP was able to refer me to a private provider under right to choose legislation, and it's fully funded so no charge to me. Referral through to first appt was approx 7 months, was originally about 10 months but I had my initial appt moved forward thanks to cancellation.
