If you have siblings are they on the spectrum too?

Just pondering after reading another thread about autism in siblings. My eldest brother has traits but my other two siblings don't. They rejected me for my differentness and I'm NC with them now. The eldest one is ok although I only see him a few times a year. He's much older than me and lives far away. Are you the odd one out so to speak or do you have diagnosed/suspected siblings?

My eldest brother is profoundly disabled with autism and my youngest brother scores highly on the tests but isn't diagnosed.

My brother has realised he is autistic in the last few years, though he isn't interested in a formal diagnosis. This was triggered by his own DC's difficulties, which is a very common way for adults to investigate their own neurodivergence!

He and I are very different and we present differently - I'm waiting for assessment for ASD and ADHD - but we have a good relationship now.

Sorry to hear you have had difficult relationships with some of your siblings Flowers
