So I received my autism diagnosis 4 weeks ago. It's been a huge...and I mean HUGE eye opener.

I had my suspicions about myself because my difficulties are fairly similar to my (undiagnosed) son.

But I've learnt a lot this past few weeks. I've been used to living with those uncomfortable feelings and never thought anything of it. Now I'm realising a lot of my issues/feelings are common autism triggers.

It's really reframing how I view the world and myself

So much makes sense suddenly!

How are you feeling about it?

I think I'm feeling okay. I'm hoping to use to information to rebuild my tattered marriage. Hopefully we can approach things slightly differently. Husband says he is at the end of what he can tolerate with my "attitude." He isn't wrong but hopefully work on things

Congratulations on your diagnosis

How has your husband taken the news?
