Are your traits/symptoms worse the week before your period?

It's the worst week in the cycle for me.
Today is particularly awful with brain fog, no motivation whatsoever, barely verbal and sounds are particularly jarring more than usual.
I can't take hormonal medication to make it easier either 😫

Yes - 100%. I have a tracking app and I usually start to feel the worst 3-5 days before my period. I’m on elvanse now and it seems to have calmed it right down.

I am now post menopausal; however, 7-10 days before my period were often hellish. I took the pill in my 20's. It made things worse.

I wish I could say things get better with age, but peri-meno and post-meno bring a variety of challenges.

No, I don't notice any difference at all in either ASD or ADHD traits/symptoms.

I did some pretty intensive tracking of periods and mental state and other stuff, too, to try and get some insights into my bipolar disorder symptoms (some people find mood changes from their menstrual cycle interact with their mood disorder), but the only noticeable mental difference that correlates with my menstrual cycle is how much I want orgasms.
