Best online assessments for ASD in women?

I'm 41 and have long suspected I may have ASD but haven't sought a diagnosis and am still unsure whether it is worth it at this point. I've been thinking about it more recently now that I'm expecting my first child, both from the point of view of how I will deal with motherhood and looking out for signs of ASD in my daughter as I would want her to have all the support available if she did have ASD.

Can anyone recommend the best online screening tools to work out if I would be likely to get diagnosed as oppossed to just having some weird or quirky personality traits (a lot of which I try to hide, even from close family and my DH)?

I used the AQ50 and then sent the results to my GP who agreed to refer me. If you Google 'AQ50' then it should come up.

Good luck! Flowers

I like the Embrace Autism website. It has the standard AQ50 test as well as other screening tools with a lot of background info on what they are for and how well they work.

I was diagnosed 12 years ago, so I just tried that out for fun, as I am the poster girl for 'oooh, but you don't look autistic' (senior professional at director level in my early 40s, home / car / relationship etc).

My score came out at 148 - the average for diagnosed NDs is 124.

Clearly, I'm still doing a good job. /sarcasm off 😉
