Jury duty and being autistic - law?

Does anyone know if there is a disability law that covers jury duty?

I have been exuded in the past but called up again about 14 months later, excused again and now I have a further citation.

I understand I am being excused because I am not able to do it; but I won't ever be able to do it so how do I go about dealing with that?

I'm not wanting to get involved in a debate about whether I could or should do it, and I'm not articulate enough or even particularly bothered to explain why I'm not able, not meaning to be rude to anyone it's just I am looking for clear advice on the law if there is one.

There's no way to get a permanent exemption - you'd just need to be asked to be excused every time. It sounds like they must have deferred you rather than excused you.

I can imagine the car crash of me doing jury duty.

the rocking because I am hypermobile and if I sit still I fall over, the stimming and the fact I can't process language very quickly so would not remember anything anyone said.

Ah I was under the impression you could one defer (sorry I thought excused was the same) a certain amount of time

A deferral means you have to do it within 12 months (I think) but being excused means you don't have to do that specific service ever. You can be called up again randomly but request to be excused again, if that makes sense.
