I love reading your posts barrow. But I understand your feeling the last thread was seriously depressing, I might also try out wrong Planet.

I hear you. This board is not a safe space for ND's and it never will be until the threads stop showing in 'active'. But I can't see that happening. We haven't been heard before now, so I won't be holding my breath for a positive change in future.

Oh no! Happened to see a thread come up today and didn’t know that neurodiverse mumsnetters was a thing but came here to check it out and hopefully join. The irony 😩

MN listened when we asked for the infertility board not to show in active when horrible posters kept turning up there and ignoring what board it was. Really hope something similar can be done for this one.

I didn't know you were ND (probably because I don't visit this board) but just wanted to say how sorry I am that you feel this way and will be leaving. I've enjoyed talking with you on the low carb threads.

I'm just resurrecting my old username to send sympathy, this is exactly why several of us who were regulars on the original old ND support threads, back when this was all fields, stopped posting and de-camped.

If it's not 'helpful' NTs it's vile trolls.

This will never be a safe space, it just can't be on an open forum, and certainly not without, at the very least, MN taking it out of active convos, and assertive and proactive modding.

I was just checked out wrong planet. First I had heard of it. I immediately found 3 threads on simple questions I had wanted to ask, but never had because I didn’t think they would be understood.

Barrow, I haven't been here much recently. but I shall miss you and your humour very much.

Family problems, health shit, et al kept me from posting, I shall check out Wrong planet when I get a chance, I cannot be doing with shtpstrs; there are enough shts in real life to contend with; go well my dear and hope to talk soon

Sorry to hear that Barrow. I missed the thread that upset you - possibly a good thing - but I felt a bit down reading some relationships stuff about adhd. Here at least it would be good to have a quiet corner.

It's wrong planet.net and its an autism forum. I've not seen any ADHD chat on there when I've been on it, except from people who already have an ASD diagnosis.

Wrong Planet has a female section, there's subs on reddit for women autism in women and aspergirls are the two big ones and random Facebook/discord grouos

Does 'off the beaten track' still exist on MN? That was a place that didn't show up in active, designed for people to hang out with a bit more privacy.
