I'm so nervous. I have private assessments for dyslexia, dyspraxia and screening for ADHD today.

I also suspect I'm autistic but I'm doing that through GP so who knows how long that will take.

I'm not sure when I will get the results for today's ones. I wasn't expecting to be so nervous. I feel like I'm going to be judged.

Good luck for today!
Let us know how you get on Flowers

Yes, good luck xx

I'm dyslexic. I don't feel like a gate crasher being on the neurodiverse mumsnetters section now!

I also show elements of inattentive ADHD but that could be because of the struggle with working memory due to the dyslexia.

I get the full report in a week.

I never know whether to write congratulations when people get a diagnosis Grin
How do you feel about it? It must be a relief to know for certain.

I'm pleased with it. It's still sinking in though. It will feel more real once I have the report.

It's great to have my struggles acknowledged.

I'm not sure what this means for me persuing the autism diagnosis though. Maybe all my traits come under dyslexia...not sure if a struggle with eye contact and groups would come under that actually.

I'm 37 by the way. I'm looking back at how different uni could have been for me if I'd have accessed the support I needed.

Ah yes...I'd not thought of that ...til now.

Let's just assume we are amazing at managing without support! There are a lot of us on here...

Peanutwaffles · 27/05/2022 10:39

I don't think I was amazing though...I needed the extra support. Anyway that's done now.
