Memory issues and frustration

Been exhausted lately and keep forgetting stuff and it’s so frustrating

I have a LOT going on at home plus being ND myself and I just can’t retain info any more and I keep forgetting things/ doing the same thing twice I feel like I’m going mad 😞

I think it’s just being tired but I’m having to write myself lists and set alarms

any tips to help memory

What’s wrong with using lists and alarms? I use them all the time. They’re tools that make my life easier.

Nothing is wrong with it I’m just stressed at how I suddenly need them so much. I just can’t remember things / process stuff/ organise myself

I am the same, I would say it’s the thing I struggle with the most and it often causes me anxiety because I’m worried I’m going to forget something important. I set alarms on my phone and I write a lot of lists. I find when I’m tired or stressed my memory is so much worse.

I have ADHD. Forgetting stuff and needing lists and alarms is the story of my life! That's how my head is all the time. It is exhausting and frustrating and overwhelming I agree.

Perhaps your hormonal system is changing, it is scientifically proven that as oestrogen goes lower (with menopause for instance) so do our symptoms get worse.
