For me can't do chores as they are pruning the big trees in the grounds to stubby trunks. (Noise and change)

Remember how lots of us could not do anything much until Eunice blew herself out...

I really need to do chores.... especially as there is a man higher than my windows who can see the mess!Blush

Why can't you do the chores? What mechanisms are stopping you? Is it because you need to concentrate on the thing that's going on?

I think so. it's really peculiar. I can't do routine stuff while storms are blowing through, either thunder or windy ones. ds is home from school poorly and I can not manage to keep doing the same stuff with him here either, until the time he is supposed to be home. then routine kicked in.

I kind of get what you mean. I can't do anything whilst I'm waiting for a phonecall or a parcel being delivered. I think we must need peace and quiet before we can do our stuff.

yep phone calls make everything stop as well.

parcels aren't quite so bad...

had shopping today and dd is doig exams and DoE soon and ds has been off so there is already quite a bit of the cpu taken processing htat stuff...

I’m terrible when it comes to procrastinating. I can’t start a task unless it’s on the hour or half past the hour. At a push I can do quarter past or quarter to. If I miss my ‘slot’ I then have to wait. It’s very frustrating.
