Does anyone claim PIP with ADHD alone?

Has anyone successfully claimed even low rate of PIP with ADHD alone?

It's something I was advised to look into, my DH has to prompt me and 'manage' so many basics that I can't seem to get to grips with myself.

I know it's bloody hard for even severe conditions (my DS1 receives it) so I'm not sure it would even be possible.

If you have. Did you need a lot of evidence from professionals?

Are you able to take any of the adhd medications? This can help improve everyday life. I've never tried claiming PIP because I know I'd never cope with the process and it would likely make me worse.

I guess you could try and see what happens. The assessors have a very poor understanding of ND and how it affects people though. If you experience mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression then they are both relevant to the assessment process and you may be awarded PIP for the effect they have on your everyday life rather than the adhd effects.

Yes. They tend not to take your word for it so gather evidence from other sources e.g Access to Work.
