I have to wonder why so many people on the main boards are so judgemental and even down right nasty about differences, neurodiversity and even dc with sen.

There’s a lot of lazy stereotypes about people with asd and adhd, and I’m trying hard not to join in but intolerance seems very common on the NT spectrum.

Sadly, I think it mirrors real life in that respect.

I feel like society sees NT people as a burden :(

People are afraid of what they don't understand.
It disgruntles me that we still live in a world where being different makes us a target of hate and abuse, stigma and stereotype.
Quite frankly some NT's are very narrow minded however we're the ones that are thought to be lacking in empathy (couldn't be further from the truth) and too black and white thinking. Ironic huh?

Real life is the same, but some of the people there just think the nasty things or say them behind your back.

Online, they don't hide it the same way so you get to hear more of it.
