I tried elsewhere but no luck

I need to tidy, dust and hoover. Instead I am online looking up ADHD meds.

Please can someone nudge me?

Just set a kitchen timer for 5 mins and tidy as much as you can - big, visable stuff: boots, coats, newspapers, stuff that needs binning etc.

Then set timer for another 5 mins and wipe/dust/polish.

Then 10 mins and hoover the worst most visible areas.

Then procrastinate for 40 mins, with timer. Then set timer and repeat in another room.

I promise you'll be staggered how much better a room looks after a 5 minute tidy/10 minute clean.

By the way, I do this and often hear the timer go after 5 mins and I've already got distracted and forgotten I was tidying. But you don't lose so much time as the bell reminds you. Reset and start again if that happens. Reduce to 2 or 3 mins if necessary.

Try the 5 minute rule - tidy for 5 minutes/the length of a song/while your coffee cools to drinkable.

Thank you
I am capable of doing nothing in 5 mins but I will try 30

Thank you, I'm really in need of help, really appreciate the answers.

Will reply in 35!

Thanks everyone
I can't wait till "sorting out the flat" finishes and it becomes easier to have a housekeeping schedule.
