Maybe it's just me or where I live but I have noticed people seem to have got incredibly rude in the last few years. Of course there is always polite and kind people but they seem to be in a minority. I find anytime I'm polite or helpful towards people; they look at me like I've got 2 heads. 2 years ago there were 'be kind' posts everywhere but it seems to be forgotten in a lot of cases sadly

Many people have changed since Covid began. They have become sadder and generally lost their pizzazz :( Life has become harder for many people, and it shows in their behaviour.

This is so true.

I've also noticed that people seem fearful.

All of the negative emotions could appear to be rudeness but it might be that they're sad/afraid/worried.

What I've noticed since Covid is that a certain age group of men think it's their place to berate a woman i.e. me for not wearing a mask.

I always ask 'who the fuck died and made you my doctor?'

They soon STFU.

I've noticed supermarket staff are on a shorter fuse - probably in response to people being horrible to them in the pandemic. My DH and I DH got 'told off' harshly for putting his rucksack in the bagging area when we hadn't selected 'own bags' and when he apologised the staff member just harrumphed (so of course I will have to let at least 6 weeks elapse before I go in that shop again although my DH couldn't care less about the incident).

Sorry for confusing extra 'DH' in above post.
