School shoes.

Three autistic people out of routine and for once it is not the children who are reacting worse.

What are your major tasks/achievements today/this week. (last half term holiday if you were last week)

Let's celebrate what we achieve that is tough for us, even though other people do fine.

(Tuesday was three opticians appointments, and Wednesday was a big clean before shopping delivery day)

and I have survived three named storms...

I really do avoid shoe shops and buy my and kids shoes online, as where I am the sales assistants are really not bothered (my being a PoC doesnt help their enthusiasm either) and the shops are usually out of stock in my common size, leaving me with only one or two expensive and not perfect shoes to choose from. And the oressure to choose fast. Many a time have i been pressured into buying too-small shoes because the assistant was impatient and insisted that they fit just perfectly. So i buy directly off the website of trusted shoe brands and this avoids a lot of stress for me.

Cleaning behind and under the toaster was my achievement. My cleaning lady just cleans in the middle of surfaces and gets huffy if i tell her this.
