Seizures and autism

In the book Odd Girl Out recommended by @rainbowzebrawarrior the author talks about how she and her son both have reflex anoxic seizures and it got me thinking.
My autistic brother has full on proper epilepsy seizures and has all his life, I had a few episodes of what sounds like anoxic seizures as a toddler and my middle son who is 7 and I think is ND really suffers from reflex anoxic seizures.

Do any of you have/had seizures and does anyone know if there is an autism connection?

I'm fortunate not to have experienced this but it sounds very frightening Flowers.

No seizures in my son or I and we are both autistic, though I do have severe migraines

Autism and epilepsy are both neurological conditions. I have both.

Yes, I have Focal seizures that begin in my temporal lobes as well as autism. The link between this type of epilepsy and autism has been well researched I believe.

I also have had migraines since I was five or six. Also linked. Yay me Hmm

RAS seizures are not actually linked to brain activity, but to the heart stopping briefly which affects the vagus nerve.
