I don't dye my hair any more. I don't like the hairdressers because of the chatting, but I quite like the head massage. Because I was leaving such a gap between visits, I'd end up with huge roots so it wasn't worth it.

I just wear my hair down or in a bobble most of the time. I use clips on my fringe to hold it out of my eyes because hair going in my face makes me irrationally annoyed.

I tried the curly girl method as I do have a wave but it was so awful. I cannot stand any product in my hair at all. My head becomes itchy and I'm really irritated till I can wash it.

I tie mine up to work too. I find it really distracting if it’s touching my face or neck.

I remember in school getting headaches from having my hair up, and the pain of taking it down. I wouldn’t put any bobbles or hair bands on dd as a baby until she was old enough to talk for fear of hurting her and she sported the wild urchin look for a fair few years after that. It makes me cringe to see babies with pony tails or headbands - not the look of it, but how it might feel for them.
