Struggling to start things

Does anyone else struggle to start things even when it's something you enjoy like a hobby? What the heck is that all about?

Yes! I procrastinate so badly.
There are so many books I've bought but not started and things I've wanted to try but never do.
I really hate it.

Yes, I have a few unstarted cross stitch kits and I download books that I don't start. It's the mental effort and it feels like a chore.

I view literally everything in terms of how much of a chore it is. Even something nice like going out for a coffee or a walk.
