If you have any Halal butchers near you then you can contact them and they should be able to sort it out for you. Congratulations on the birth of your baby 💖

Do you mean the meat or the party? Doesn't everyone just go to a butcher/send money somewhere and do a gathering according to however they want it? Is there something else you want to do as well?

There are offcourse halal butchers providing this service; however, they must be sourcing the Aqiqah carcass from a reliable and halal assured slaughterhouse that performs the Aqiqah dedicated to your baby in Islamic way.

You do not want just meat of a halal slaughtered animal? That is not Aqiqah.

You need to be sure how your baby's Aqiqah is being done and if in the correct way.

We don't have any halal butchers near us. But some charities will do it on your behalf if you make the donation online.

Here's one. If.you Google you can find many. I prefer this method as it will be distributed to those most in need. I'm not sure who gets it when it's done with a local butcher as we haven't got any here so no experience. So online is another option.

Some let you choose where it gets distributed too.

I remember me and DH were still in between two names for my second DD when the butcher rang to ask what name for the aqiqah. We ended up choosing on the spot whilst he was waiting on the other line but Alhamdulillah happy with our choice.

We used one in Mid Wales. DH went picked the sheep and witnessed the slaughter no stunning so properly Halal. And then he took the meat to Birmingham Butchers as we had a boy Green lane Masjid paid for the butcher to cut the meat up and we donated a whole sheep to the masjid food bank. We then distributed the rest to family and ourselves. We made a big dinner and fed all the family with it. And donated to family also to take a share home. There are ways to do it 100% Halal.

*Update. I ordered our baby's aqiqah on www.myaqiqah.uk and had a fabulous experience! Really recommend checking it out. We got an Aqiqah certificate and cute labels that we put on little bags in which we gave the meat to family.
