As-Salaam-Alaikum!
Are these cards ok to send to colleagues for Eid-al-Adha? Or are they the equivalent of sending an Easter card at Christmas?
Thank you so much.

Card advice please

Wasalaam. They look fine! I am sure they will be much appreciated, it is very thoughtful of you to do that.

As far as I know there is no religious requirement of Eid cards, however we started doing them in our family-like gifts, they offer a way to strengthen bonds and friendships.

reservoirdawg · 12/06/2024 10:16

Brilliant, yes definitely a strengthening hello friend gesture- just didn’t want to get it wrong!

A follow up 😀
I want to avoid saying the same inside- is Eid Sa’eed appropriate? Google translate renders in Hunter’s Day!
Or have a blessed “Eid-ul- Fitr!” ?

I have never heard of the first! Google knows more I'm sure 😆

This Eid is Eid Al Adha (what you said in your first post). But it's normal just to wish 'Eid Mubarak' and you can write that inside as well as any other well wishes. Blessed Eid is also good.

Just to say I think it's very kind and thoughtful of you. I am sure will be so appreciated.

Oo, Blessed Eid is lovely (and short!)
I have a lovely job organising training and soft HR stuff for a small charity. These will be sent to colleague and family from all your friends at charity name
