And what's it like? I know it's quite large for a folk festival, but is it still quite intimate? I haven't been to a folk fest since Cropredy about 12 years ago , with my mother. (Camping. With my mother. Never again.)
DH and I would really like to go - Imagined Village are playing, as well as Show of Hands and lots of other acts we'd love to see, and we're not going to be able to catch Imagined Village anywhere else this year. So that means leaving DS with my parents (otherwise DH and I will come to blows over whose turn it is to enjoy the music later at night, and it's no fun on your own!) and camping. And I'm pregnant too: all part of the fun!
Just wondered if anyone else was going (I'm sure some people here are) and what it's like, really. How far off is the 'family-friendy' campside from the music? (yes. Even without taking DS, I think we're both such old farts we'd rather be somewhere nice and quiet for sleeping!)
Tickets still seemed to be available when I looked a couple of days ago.
