I'm off to see Snow Patrol in Glasgow (Bellahouston Park) next weekend and, being a bit of a festival/outdoor gig virgin, wonder what is best to wear, and can I take a bag with me (and is it advisable?) tia

Bagwise you want a smaller backpack and wear it on your front. That way you can see it at all times and get things out of it easily. That is if you need to take a bag. Personally with gigs I find you should travel as light as you possibly can.

Check the weather. You'll be hot, even if it's chilly, all those people. Don't wear trousers that drag on the ground at all as they will get wet/filthy. Wear something lightweight that you can take off- jumper cardy and tie round your waist. You don't want to cart a big coat round all day, it's better to be cold.

im going to see them on sat
not sure ive ever taken a bag to a gig, ive never needed anything that cant fit in my pockets, but like pfft says you really dont want to be carting about heavy coats or bags all day

Seeing as clothing is now sussed (I always drag out ancient combats due to huge pockets)

Id wear conversey type trainers as your feet will get filthy.
