Trying to remember name of folk band

This is a long shot, but hopefully someone will know what I'm wittering on about...

They were a large group, had a weird name, and were on TV just after Christmas 2008 playing in a folk concert - but it was modern folk, I guess.

I really liked them, but forgot to write down their name. The lead singer played violin as well. It's driving me mad trying to remember!

Actually I'd heard of Bellowhead but not seen/heard them until looking for an answer for you, so thanks, off to order an album now

Saw Bellowhead live the other year. They were fantastic. Worth seeing if they're ever down your way.....
