Anyone else got a ticket!

I've been dying to go again for ages.

2 Glastonbury threads, must mean there's not long to go now!
Advice- when you get there, the first thing you should do (after getting yourself a drink) is to walk right to the top of the stone circle field, and just stand there and look at the amazing view of a small city of tents and stages. I do it every time I go (this will be my 6th time) and it still gives me goosebumps.
Don't rush about trying to see everything. Wander round aimlessly and see what you can find (Wednesday afternoon/all day Thursday are good for doing this). The most interesting music, food and events are to be found away from the main stages.
I try to plan to see 2 or 3 bands a day, and spend the rest of my time wandering into tents that look interesting, listening to music I would never hear normally, and talking to strangers.
Take comfy shoes- walking boots are good, as the site is huge. About 5 miles across, I think.
If you do want to see a band, give yourself more time than you think you'll need to get to the stage. You're likely to get distracted by something, and if it's muddy (which it won't be) it'll take you longer to trudge through the mud.
Don't worry about getting dirty. Not washing properly for a few days won't kill you, and everyone else is filthy too, so it doesn't really matter.

I'm sure there's more, if you've got any questions I'll do my best to answer them.
Do you think someone should start an official Glasto thread, so we can compare notes?

Hi all again. I've been 8 times as am a local but havn't been for 6 years so am very excited. i always go alone. I hate having to try meeting up with people when trying to live it up. I normally bump into lots of people I know anyways.
