Help me relive my youth

My teacher played us War of the Worlds in 15 minute sections over a couple of weeks when I was 7. We only got to listen if we were good as a class though...great bribery material!

We all crapped ourselves though...these days parents would probably try and sue her for the hours of sleep they lost due to their kids nightmares! I still remember sitting on the floor in the classroom next the record player (!) quivering as the top of the cylinder slowly unscrewed and then the alien with its 'writhing tentacles' emerged....
