Annie Lennox,, does everybody love her or is she irritating?

I used to like her stuff a few years back but as I get older I seem to like her music less and less. Anyone else think the same or is she universally loved?

Interesting OP. Me and DH have just been discussing same thing after seeing her on telly just now.

We've come to conclusion that she should have stuck to wearing boy clothes (tuxedos, waistcoats etc) and she should stop with the up and down warbling thing. Yes, I know she is trying to put a 'modern slant' onto old songs, but its not working for us.

Oh, she's so dull and humourless and worthy. I do like that cover of teh Ash song but that's because it's a good song

I find her quite irritating and I find her music pretty dull and disappointing.

I have always found her irritating. She's just sooo serious whenever you see her being interviewed and music leaves me cold tbh.

I heard her on the radio a while back and she sems to ahve turned into a Bono type of character starting to preach to everyone. it kind of got my goat really.

She does seem terribly earnest. Looks lovely with short hair, though. Which is a hard look to pull off.
