yes, although occasionally sounds like Marc Bolan in his 'Larry the Lamb' phase. Devendra is just the right amount of bonkers...

Heelooo Queen Rollo
I agree..
Just read your profile and wanted to ask you something- are there any festivals that you can do without a car in your opinion?

yes, I like him too and Vashti Bunyan while we're about it...

mrs ruffalo - do you mean using public transport?

mrsruffallo · 14/03/2009 16:17

yes, using public transport

i've never used public transport myself to go to a festival (have a campervan) but lots of people do for Glastonbury, and did for Bestival last year.
The key to it is being able to pack light. Lots of festivals have coach packages, or will have information on their web-sites about the public transport infrastructure.

this website is very good for asking all sorts of questions about festivals, and they have a pretty comprehensive listing of festivals too. Scaling down a bit this year but we usually try and do some smaller (and if possible local) ones.....

Thanks qr that's really useful
I notice lots of them have shuttle buses from the train stations.
I like the look of Beautiful days
