So why has she covered Ash's Shining Light and made it into an MORish bag of shite?

They were playing it on Radio Two this morning and they didn't appear to be laughing about it....

It seemed serious when she sang it on Jonathan Ross. She was also rubbish.

Well would you rather Beyonce sang it then?!. Hate people being so precious about a song. Why are Ash so sacrosanct?.

Ash are actually pretty much honoured that she's covered their song. If she goes on to encourage someone else who has not heard of Ash to give their music a hearing then great. Also Ash are copping the royalties for this and have been fully credited.

If they're honoured she's covered it they need their ears testing... will they be getting royalties, if it's for Comic Relief?
