Any recommendations on where to sell some old vinyl?

I've just unearthed a load of old 7" singles, mainly ltd edition/picture discs etc. I no longer have any means of playing them so I'm thinking of selling them. Is there anywhere apart from eBay that's worth looking at? They're bands like Levellers, Green Day, senseless things...

if you have an independant record store they may buy them from you. I know my local one does. If not you could try friday ads

DH just threw away his. He spent several hourse looking for the right place to sell, prices etc, then decided not worth it (shipping, wondering if there were some unseen scratches etc).

You could try a listing in Record Collector magazine but really I doubt they will have any resale value.

Funnily enough I used to share a flat with someone from one of the bands you mentioned... whenever he ran low on cash he would dig out some limited edition singles, sign them and sell them to the local vinyl store!

dp had loads to see, we tried an independent trader in the local paper, but ebay is really the only way to go if you want to get the most money and sell worldwide

Christina - I keep worrying about scratches but I've no way to play them...
Meg - I don't suppose they have any value really, although I've got a couple of Queen ones that might be worth selling.
