Doesn't understand why the snow turns red like strawberries...I try hard to make up more palatable version of the truth than "because it is DRENCHED IN THE BLOOD OF A CHILD!"

I think they are from Seattle...which seems quite odd given the style of music. They are on subpop I think.

cool, they remind me of simon and garfunkel crossed with mamas and papas. That sort of califrnia sound. I like the beta band too, do you?

actually this might be a band that my ex dh was on about, but i am sure he they were form new york. prob different band.

Yes, I LOVE the Beta Band. Also really getting into Vampire Weekend.

That's so wierd! I love their song, not sure what it's called, but it has a lyric in it that's something like "peter gabriel song" and it's exactly like a peter gabriel song, but with their own twist. Interesting factoid - the guy from The IT Crowd who plays Moss directed the video...can't think of his name at the moment. Do you know who I mean?

Yes, that's really nice. The lead singer looks like such a Dad with those specs and headphones on though!
