Can you pleeeeze help me name this 80s band...?

Vague description coming up! It was a British (I think!) non-mainstream band or poss duo with female vocals...she didnt sing proper words I seem to recall, it was kind of just sounds and nonsense (or maybe I was very very dim and it was another language...!) It was quite chilled type music in the days before trance etc...any suggestions?? I have been racking my brains for a name for the last two days! Thanks in advance!
