Will I survive the mosh pit at The Prodigy, Milton Keynes?

I'm going on my own to see The Prodigy in Milton Keynes this Saturday. I've loved them since I was 12. SO excited.

I want to DANCE. I am curious about the mosh pit - how rowdy does it get? Will I be injured? Will I survive? Will the dancing be just as fun on the outer edges, or is it best to aim to be in the middle somewhere?

If anyone went to their last Milton Keynes gig would be great to get a sense of how it was.

*edited to add - it's my first time seeing them

Do not do this if you are over 40 (30?) , short or unfit.

I refused to get involved with them when I was younger. They were nuts.

I went to their Milton Keynes gig in 2010. I had a brilliant time, but honestly being at the front terrified me. People off their faces, giving each other shoulder lifts, staggering around careening into each other and falling over etc. I don’t think id ever seen people so off their faces (and I’d seen a lot!) and it was extremely rowdy. At one point I thought I was going to have a panic attack and had to move further back. Once I had got out of the crush and got further back I had an absolutely brilliant time though, and I’m sure you will too!

edited to say I’m now in my late 40s and if I went again I would stay near the back/edge for the whole thing!

I saw Prodigy at Leeds 2009, the surge when they started knocked me off my feet and I genuinely thought I was going to get trampled to death. I have no idea how I made it back on my feet. Fucking terrified me.

When I've been to their concerts, I stay right at the back or sides. Plenty of space there!!

Yeah you will be fine. I’ve seen them loads and I’ve survived the mosh pit aged 47. I’ve seen them a couple of times on this tour and the last time I was in seats and it just wasn’t the same. You can stay out of the mosh pit quite easily and the Prodigy shows are a good mix of anything from 18-60 plus age range so don’t worry about it too much.

@SidNut this is what I'm slightly worried about. I have no sense of how large the mosh pit is at the start. Think I'll probably start further back!

(I'm early 40s and can't afford to break anything lol)

I saw them at a festival a couple of years back, they were headliners. Their set was amazing and you'd need to be some way back to appreciate it.

Mosh pit??? NO! Stand further back and dance!
