My parents used to play it in the car when I was young and I'd imagine aliens chasing us!

MaureenMLove · 17/06/2008 21:46

We listen to it every year, on the 500 mile trip into the Highlands of Scotland. There's something amazing about listening to parts of it going across Rannoch Moor just as dawn begins to break.

SaintGeorge · 17/06/2008 21:55

I love that album.

Had it on vinyl, with the gatefold sleeve and fantastic booklet of artwork, but it was ruined in the floods.

DH got me a replacement cd but somehow it just isn't quite the same.

southeastastra · 17/06/2008 21:56

i had the lp too, one of the pics is scarily like the twin towers

I remember my record cover had pictures on of all the 'stars' performing.

I particularly remember 'rising young star' David Essex, as he was about 50 when I got hold of it and staging his comeback.
