INXS in Manchester. And then Dina Carroll - no idea what happened to her.

NewYorkSummer · 04/10/2025 13:50

@PauliesWalnuts INXS, I’m so jealous. The only band I wish I’d been able to see.
Mine was Alice Cooper

ApricotCheesecake · 04/10/2025 13:52

I think it was The Pixies

marmitegirl01 · 04/10/2025 13:53

If I remember rightly, she was losing her hearing.

Mine was The Wildhearts.

Space at Southampton Guildhall. Brilliant!

Hoppinggreen · 04/10/2025 13:54

Pal came on stage on a skateboard and Morten was breathtakingly beautiful

Tcateh · 04/10/2025 13:55

LBOCS2 · 04/10/2025 13:56

Feeder at Brixton Academy, I was 14.

3of5 · 04/10/2025 13:57

if you’re counting Radio One Roadshows then Jason Donovan

If not - Crowded House in the SECC in Glasgow

HappiestSleeping · 04/10/2025 13:59

ABBA at Wembley Arena.

Globules · 04/10/2025 13:59

Jason Donovan in Brighton Centre in 1990.

I saw him (a few times) on his recent Doin Fine 25 tour. I've got tickets for 3 dates for his Doin Fine Encore 26. I'll probably get more.

Think it was Ash at Waldorf Astoria around 1996

TeenLifeMum · 04/10/2025 14:08

Blur in Wembley Arena age 13. School tried to give me a detention for missing art and IT despite my parents giving permission so my parents argued 😂😂😂 years on, it was totally right to skip school that one time.

MYOB12 · 04/10/2025 14:08

A-ha, Wembley arena. 2005ish I think.

Stumbleine · 04/10/2025 14:08

@Frankblackwife me too!

welshcakesandtea · 04/10/2025 14:08

Lost Prophets, unfortunately.

evtheria · 04/10/2025 14:09

A classical music (thanks, Dad) evening outdoors in Australia, everyone on picnic blankets. I was a young kid and the best bit was watching a small disturbance travel through the audience like a wave… before a possum/other furry mammal made its way out and climbed up a tree nearby. I then fell asleep.
The first gig I personally bought a ticket for was by Korn. Where I grew up there were no gigs, I missed out on so many of the 90s-2000s singers and bands!
