Bands you mean to get into but never do

Anyone got any bands they keep meaning to investigate, but never manage to?

Mine are:

Depeche Mode
The Cure
Throwing Muses
Most IMPORTANT albums as defined by polls
My bloody valentine
Sonic youth
Smashing pumpkins
NIN
The kinks

that's it for now, I mostly get into bands gone passed past as I hardly ever hear anything that catches my ear these days. The current music trend has veered off into a direction I'm not fond of.

i keep you tube on all day and am always checking out bands, either old or new

i make new playlists on my ipod all the time though, stuff i dont usually listen to and never get round to listening to them. it all depends on my mood, sometimes i just prefer to listen to all my oldies

I think mine are the 60's and 70's bands that influenced all the new wave and Indie musics from the 80's onwards.

Fortunately I am married to a former dj who has all the above on LP and more much more - just need to hook up his decks - but that would require him trusting me with them! So not happening he is a bit 'precious' about his things sometimes...
