Oasis live ‘25 - Who’s going?

Less than 2 weeks before the first (and last?!) show.
I’m off to Wembley for the first London show, seated so hopefully I won’t get ‘wet’…… IYKYK….

I’m going on Friday to manc! I cannot wait!!! Feel like a kid at Christmas time!

Have the best time! Still another 2 and a bit weeks for me, 1st night at Wembley. The wait is agonising!

Reporting back in from Heaton Park last weekend. Absolutely fantastic gig and we had the BEST time. Plus I came away without being covered in anything seriously bad, phew! It was absolutely boiling but we got up there early and spent a few hours in the Woodthorpe pub inside (shout out to the Woodthorpe staff who were remarkably good tempered) before going over to HP, and then lurked in the shade until we went into the standing bit. We'd got really lucky and were in the front standing, so we had a fab view. All the acts were brilliant, and DH cried during Richard Ashcroft as Bittersweet Symphony is his favouritist song ever, bless him.

And then Oasis came on and the place went utterly bonkers. The biggest singalong I've ever been in, but a brilliant atmosphere. Loud, too. I could feel the drums in my chest. I've a number of work colleagues who live nearby, and then could hear it all perfectly, so they sat out listening to it. Dh's mate is a firefighter, so he got to sit on his fire engine and listen to the gig too. A fantastic night which I'll remember for a good long while. I hope the rest of you have as good a time as we did.

My kids (who were raised on Oasis) are going to HP tomorrow. They’re both huge fans and it was their dream to see them live. They’re so excited and I’m thrilled for them! But on the flip side I got the two tickets but ended up giving them to the kids because I knew how badly they wanted to go.

Now I’m secretly pig sick. 🤒 Like more jealous than I’ve ever been in my life! I haven’t told them, but I’ll probably crack open a bottle of wine tomorrow night, listen to WtSMG and cry into my crisps. The fuckers better put me in the best care home one day!

That's going above and beyond! One of the things I noticed at our gig was the number of younger people there. I'd expected it would all be old gimmers like me & DH who remember the 90s, but not at all.

Another one reporting in from last night. Omg it was amazing! Got there really early as we had front standing and we were hoping to get the very front section. Which we did!!!
It was absolutely brilliant. A real mix of people, we met people from Argentina and Taiwan. Great atmosphere. Those going are in for a terrific night.

Just got home from Wembley.
What a night.
Never have I heard a crowd sing as loud as they did tonight.

I bought a ticket on StubHub for Saturday's gig. Last Friday was just too good, so I'm going again.

We went to Wembley on Saturday, meh, it was alright...

Yes, I paid over the odds, but it really was worth it.

I had a seat last Friday. I paid extra for pitch standing last night. Nosebleed seats were cheaper, but I wanted to stand.

My son is there tonight. Was so excited!

I was there last night - absolutely amazing . Gig of a lifetime . Paid double face value from StubHub .

We went last night, ended up getting tickets off Viagogo on Thursday after no reasonable resales on Ticketmaster for months and then getting locked out more recently for not having a code. Paid £320 each for level 5, a little bit less than our younger son paid in the general sale for standing at Murrayfield though, and it was worth every single penny.

I’ve been to loads of concerts over the years but I’ve NEVER experienced anything like that. Cast were brilliant, Richard Ashcroft lifted it to another level and I honestly don’t have the words for Oasis.

I’ve also never been to a concert before where the fans connect so well with each other, it was like a massive party where we were.
