Does anyone have recommendations for a nice book of songs, preferably with a CD / digital version of the songs, that would be good for a 4(+) year old?
I‘m british, living in a european country (my husband‘s home country). My DC is bilingual in english and the local language, but is definitely better at the local language since they get a lot more exposure to it. They love singing, so I‘m looking for a nice book of kids songs in english. We have a few really nice examples of these kinds of books in the local language with really cute pictures and lovely songs (a mix of traditional and new ones) that they want to listen to all the time. Singing/music/dancing are some of the main bonding activities we do as a family, and right now this almost always involves songs in the other language since they‘re the ones they hear most.
I would love to have something similar in english for us all to listen to and sing together. I‘ve been looking for a while but none of the things I‘ve found online have been very good - either too cheesy, or badly performed, or with bad sound quality. It being well performed and well recorded is quite important because my husband is a classical musician and will come out in hives if it‘s badly done😅.
Any recommendations welcome!
