Music Provision in Scottish Islands

I'm wondering about offering some fun online music classes, singing, sight-reading, ear-training etc. in the Scottish islands, or anywhere else where there might not be the same provision as in big cities. I currently teach a number of kids individually, both active musicianship and preparing stuff for exams, but I thought some classes could bring kids together, and we could have live get-togethers from time to time, if feasible. Mums and Bubs, and Mums and toddlers would also be possible. I'm still setting up a website to let people know who I am, qualifications etc (I usually only work by word of mouth), but I thought I would put this out there. Are there areas, where this would be desirable? I'm trying to do the same in the area where I grew up in Australia.

Have you investigated the musical culture in the islands? It's very rich and even tiny communities have strong musical traditions and participation in music - much more so than many parts of the UK. You might want to think how your offering aligns with this.

I am aware of that, especially a great fiddling and singing offering in some places. I'm less sure about how musicianship etc. provision is, although I know there is one NYCoS choir on two of the islands.
