Aussie bands recommendations

I'm a big fan of Midnight Oil, which I've rattled on about many a time.
Also like INXS, The Saints, Goanna, Redgum, Paul Kelly, Spy vs Spy, Men at Work (mainly for Colin Hays voice). Recently discovered Alice Sky, William Crichton and Missy Higgins.
Who else might I like? I'm more into rock than ballads and whilst Kylie is great at reinvention, she's not quite my thing.

I'm a big fan of The Teskey Brothers.

Has no-one mentioned The Church?

I couldn't remember if they were from Aus. or NZ.
Under the Milky Way is a gorgeous song - I've got the album that's on.

That’s great @ImBoilingJackie. I think Heyday is my favourite Church album - it’s almost 40 years old!

I've a lot of mid/late 80s stuff on vinyl. I remember having to go and order Midnight Oil albums and getting them on import. INXS were a bit more commercially known so not so difficult to track down.
I remember my Saints album took a lot of faffing to get too.
Pretty much any band I mentioned then, people would go, "Who are they?"
(although to be fair, that still happens).

Might be a bit harder than what you usually like but what about Mammal?
A lot of their tunes vary a bit so might be something you like in there. They do more melodic stuff as well.
This is probably one of their more popular songs I love.
