Help finding a song.... with the least amount of helpful info ever!

Hi, long shot but I need help finding a song, Google has not helped and the information I have is very basic!

I don't have any idea of the age of the song, anywhere between 70s to today.

It has a female voice saying "take me to the river".

It isn't "take me to the river" by Talking Heads (or Eva Cassidys version. it isn't Testify by Crystal Waters either).

Quite a "serious" sounding song, with a strong female voice (like Shirley Bassey/Grace Jones etc).

It's the only line I know "take me ....to the river... " sang quite slowly. If it helps, river is pronouced riv-argh not riv-er

It's probably been on Absolute Radio because that's the radio I usually have on in the background (i've searched their playlist but can't find it)

All I can think of is Tina Turner and Rolling on the River. I think she sings that bit quite slowly at the start, but then the song picks up.

There are a few it might be based on that description!
Try searching for Kaleida, or Testify by Hifi Sean and Crystal Waters, or the version of Take Me to the River covered by The Commitments or Take Me Down to the River by Molly Williams.

Any of those the right ones?

How embarrassing, I had the lyrics completely wrong.
