Help me identify this song before my mum drives me mad!

My mum wants me to identify a song...all she can remember are the lyrics 'I promise you' and she thinks it's a boy band, possibly Westlife or Boyzone.

I've told her she needs to give me a bit more information but she can't. We've tried the obvious ones but any ideas?

It says “I promise you” quite a bit in the lyrics. It’s very ‘80s.
