Playlist of great songs needed...

I've just played Layla for my kids (well OK, Eric Clapton played it to them courtesy of YouTube!), DS, 6, loved it, DD , 11, was "meh", which made me realise I need to educate them about great music! Please help me out together a playlist of classic songs so my kids can grow up appreciating great music, and not just whatever is currently number one!
