Im looking for some new music and would gladly appreciate some suggestions to add to my music collection!

Hello! ^^

I love a band called Ark - they are from the West Mids and used to play the local area in the 80s. Slightly reminiscent of Marillion (in fact the lead singer painted his face like Fish) - a lot of their live stuff is on YouTube here

I know I am late to this post but I was looking for good music posts (must have more, please!) and just saw it. It is nice to see Marillion mentioned on here I definitely recommend Van Der Graaf Generator's 'Pawn Hearts' album

Also, if you have never seen this documentary, it is so worth watching ...

Additionally, I totally recommend Emerson, Lake and Palmer 'Brain Salad Surgery' (1973). My Mum and Dad saw ELP live many times and had this album on vinyl. Everything about it, the music and the artwork intrigued me so much whist I was growing up, love it!

I really hope this was the sort of stuff you were looking for and there is plenty more where this came from!

I love IQ deeply (their bass player was John Jowitt from Ark for years). Prog Metal-wise I love Threshold.
