Went to see Joe Bonamassa last week. Going to see Ian Anderson next week and Pardise Lost week after that.

I'll take it from there after that. Oh and Garbage in July I think.

Yours sound good apart from radiohead and the stone roses!

BrightnessFalls · 11/04/2012 23:42

I'm kind of through with live music. I must be getting old. I think Paul Simon. I've seen Bruce twice and he gets kind of boring half way through. Sorry !

BrightnessFalls · 11/04/2012 23:42

And Radiohead are the same. Had their day.

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 11/04/2012 23:46

I don't get to go to that many any more (cost!), but I'm going with DH and the DCs to the Distant World/Final Fantasy concert at the Albert Hall in November (which will mean nothing unless you're a gamer Grin)

We went last year and it was fantastic.

Stone Roses, Radiohead and the Vintage festival as well, so whoever is going to be there (am especially looking forward to the Mike Flowers Pops!!)

BrightnessFalls · 12/04/2012 09:19

No, not 94. I do feel it sometimes though!! Its just Ive been there and done that. All the bands mentioned Ive seen several times over the years. Some on purpose and sometimes by accident.

Music just doesnt excite me like it used to Sad

whatkungfuthat · 12/04/2012 10:11

So far I've booked for Buzzcocks, Turin Brakes and PIL

upahill · 12/04/2012 20:29

Sorry Brightness I was only joking.
I am 47 and Dh is 50 this year and I still get ridiculously excited about gigs whether it is a good well known local band or one that has been going for years or new bands justing making it.
Finally got DS1 interested in gigs last year at the age of 14 (late developer!!)

Where are you seeing Pearl Jam at.
Bet that will be a good one!!

I have been listening to 'Black' alot recently as I have been feeling abit melanocholy lately!!

Timeoutofmind · 14/04/2012 14:12

Manchester arena. Pearl jam are one of my all time favourites so this is by far the gig I'm most looking forward to. Black is a brilliant song!

GrandPoohBah · 14/04/2012 15:47

Marilyn Manson is being booked this weekend. DH saw Korn a couple of weeks ago but I had to duck out as I was ill Sad Blink 182 are playing soon so we're looking at those, The Offspring are bringing out a new album soon so we're hoping that they'll tour, and I'd like to see Garbage.

RedRosie · 14/04/2012 16:10

Where is Leonard Cohen playing? I'd love to see him.

RedRosie · 15/04/2012 11:09

Hi whatkungfuthat - he is doing one UK gig only, at the Hop Farm (so not the festival in June, but the same venue) in September.

whatkungfuthat · 15/04/2012 15:53

Thanks RedRosie, I'll look for tickets
