Just the opening bars were used in the late 80s/early 90s I am sure but what is the song please? They played Belle Stars on the radio yesterday and it has been driving me mad ever since TIA

Lots of nannas? Hmm

It can't be from 'you're history' as that was released ages after 'sign of the times'...

DOn't know why, but the belle stars' riff always makes me think of a song by UB40, or maybe blow monkeys

OKAY!- I'm thinking of... it's actually Kid Creole
It's 1982, so before Sign of the Time s(1983)... possibly?

I know it was - she was after a song that had the same riff but was from later....I've just listened to it and it's definitely in there. 1'25" is the first example.

"You're history, no good for me, na na na na"

Oh we've got the belle stars one on a 7 inch. I still play it from time to time.
